REEVE CARNEY, star of SPIDER-MAN TURN OFF THE DARK

The cast is headed by Reeve Carney as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Next to Normal Tony nominee Jennifer Damiano as Mary Jane Watson and Broadway veteran Patrick Page as Norman Osborn/The Green Goblin. The photos above were taken on December 23, the day after the show canceled a performance to address safety issues in the technically complex production. Four actors have been injured in this "troubled" production.

Allegiance, which is produced by Lorenzo Thione and Sing Out, Louise! Productions, features music and lyrics by Jay Kuo and book by Kuo and Thione. The musical focuses on "the story of the Omura family during World War II and the years of the internment of Japanese Americans." According to playbill.com, Allegiance will hold its world premiere in 2011 at a regional theatre to be announced, with a planned Broadway run in 2012 to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the internment of Japanese Americans in the U.S.
